Beautiful one bedroom apartment in a leafy suburb 1-2 miles from Bristol city centre. Set on a quiet road, it is a five minute walk to bohemian Gloucester Road with its many cafes, independent shops, delis, live music venues, restaurants, pubs and a large park. The apartment has one double bedroom, a large lounge, conservatory, kitchen, bathroom and computer area. There is a also a private garden with outhouse furnished with some gym equipment. Gas BBQ and chimenea can be used in the summer months. Plenty of room for more than two people if happy to sleep on sofabeds. We have access to the internet and could possibly car swap if you are interested. It is a ten minute walk to the nearest train station- ideal for exploring nearby Bath, Cotswolds and the Mendip Hills. Bristol itself is a great place to visit; shopping in Clifton Village, taking a boat trip along the harbour, going to one of the many festivals, visiting galleries or exhibitions or taking in a show or ballet at the Bristol Hippodrome.

We are Laura and Brian (30 and 40). I work as a Legal Assistant in a Bank and am studying, and Brian is a Probation Officer. We are open to going anywhere- ideally a week away in the UK over the summer, abroad for two weeks late September or October and weekend breaks away throughout the year. Brian has two daughters (15 and 19) who may like to travel with us at times. We also have a cat who would need lots of fussing over and feeding should you wish to swap with us. We are also more than happy to look after any pets you may have. We love the great outdoors and enjoy open spaces to explore but also more than happy to do a city swap, even if close to home just for a change of scenery. Our ideal house guests would most likely be another couple or single person as not sure how the cat would deal with small children but certainly all offers will be considered and we look forward to hearing from you.
