Description
Woodend is one hour drive or direct train to Melbourne's CBD. Woodend is situated in the foothills of The Macedon Ranges. It is a very picturesque village with outstanding cafes and restaurants. The countryside around is rich in wildlife and Australian flora. The village has lots of amenties, supermarket, banks,d octors etc. and swimming pool (under 5mins walk). We are also only one-two hours drive to lots of tourist destinations, gold fields, Great Ocean Road, Murray River. The train service is a relaxing way to visit Melbourne and the station is only 5mins walk from our house. Melbourne Airport is 40mins away by car.
We have a renovated 1920's house which has great views of the golf course and the pony club backs onto our back garden.
