Ross on Wye, Herefordshire England (HE21140)

Our house is a detached converted cider house in a very beautiful valley near the market town of Ross on Wye. Ross has all necessary shops. We have 3 bedrooms - 2 doubles and a child's room with 2 single beds. We have all modcons - dishwasher, Sky and Sky Sports and various computer accessories etc. Our garden is large and pretty with a seating area under a gazebo and views over open field and woods.

We are next to the Royal Forest of Dean and close to the beautiful Wye valley. We are also within easy driving distance of the Cotswolds, the Malverns and the Brecon Beacons. The cathedral cities of Hereford, Gloucester and Worcester are all less than an hour away. Birmingham, Stratford upon Avon, Oxford, Cardiff and Bristol are an hour and a half away.

We are a family of 4. I, Alison, am a Consultant Microbiologist and my husband, Simon, is an IT professional and writer. We have 2 children - 10 and 6. We have a black cat who needs little attention - just food and water and a Jack Russell terrier who we may like to bring or who could be cared for elsewhere. We are non-smokers. Our cleaner visits once a week for 3 hours and our gardener mows the lawn once a week.

The children have lots of toys - Nintendo Wii included!

We have exchanges arranged for Easter and summer 2010 but are open to any offers during school holidays later in this year or next.
