White Rock/South Surrey is a pretty seaside town with good safe beaches and wonderful restaurants and bistros. It is a relaxed community with swimming, sailing and hiking all within easy reach. It is 45 mins by bus or car to beautiful Vancouver, the future home of the 2010 Winter Olympics co-hosted with Whistler, B.C.(2 hr drive) check the web sites www.vancouver.com and www.city.whiterock.bc.ca

We are situated conveniently on the Can/U.S. border for easy access to the State of Washington. In November the local mountains open up for Skiing (1 hour drive) as well as Whistler B.C. and Mount Baker, Washington. Unlike the rest of Canada the west coast has warm/hot dry summers and mild winters. The best time for Whale watching is September to November.

Our 8 yr old townhouse includes all modern appliances and has 2.5 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms; 2 queensize, and an office in the 3rd bedroom. 2 digital TVs, DVD, stereo etc. A 2006 Mazda-3 with air cond is available.
