We live in the Mojave Desert. It's hot, dry, and sunny during the day and cool in the evenings. Palm Springs is about 1 1/2 hours away, Disneyland is 1 1/4 hours, Downtown Los Angeles and San Diego are 2 hours, local mountains with great hiking are about 45 minutes, and Las Vegas is 2 1/2 hours. The freeways are great and it's easy to get around from here. Our home is 4300 SF and spacious. We have a great view of the surrounding valley. We have a pool, spa, table tennis, and BBQ in the back yard. Our neighborhood is very safe and quiet. Our home is near government held land and there are lots of walking trails within walking distance of our house.

Our home sleeps 12 very comfortably. We have 2 master bedrooms (One w/king queen bed/ one w/king and queen bed separated by a double door) with its own bath, a teenager suite double raised bed with single sofa underneath)with its own bath, and 2 smaller bedrooms (each with a double bed) that share a bath. We have great neighbors and great friends that would be able to help out if need be. We have an 03 Honda Accord Sedan, and an older Toyota Land Cruiser for jaunts through the desert that could also be available.We clean our own home, but can arrange for a housekeeper for an additional fee. There is great hiking right behind our house, and the Getty Museum (very kid friendly) and all LA, San Diego, and Las Vegas has to offer no more than 1-2 1/2 hours- easy driving. We've exchanged 4 times before and had wonderful experiences. The desert is a very interesting place (Joshua Tree National Park, Hoover Dam, Idyllwild, Big Bear, Angeles Crest, Palm Springs Tram) and we think whoever we exchange with will have a terrific time! :o)
